10/13/06: Pre-Halloween Party

This past Friday (the 13th) we had a pre-halloween party. It included a brain-jello-shot with gum eyeballs. Some costumes in the various pictures include Tobias from Arrested Development, Dr. Zoidberg and Leela from Futurama, the Hamburgler, Trapper from MASH, Ron Burgundy from Anchorman, and slutty/pimpy Christmas people (the back of the head pimp elf's cape said Hos Hos Hos).

So far in Washington, D.C. (Up to 10/16/06)

Washington D.C. so far has been a mix between eh and ok. The traffic is horrible, the intersections look like they've been drawn in by a 2 year old with poor hand-eye coordination, and whoever invented roundabouts was sorely mistaken about their value (they=crap). Also, the mosquitos here are out of control. On the other hand, the museums are really exciting. So far, Stephen and I have visited the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, National Gallery of Art, and the Contemporary Art Museum. Next week when his dad comes, we will hopefully hit the Spy museum (which will be awesome). Hopefully I'll like things better when I start my job. I miss 24 hour Mexican food, though. Oh, and butadon, too. Here are some pictures from those adventures and just random things I've been seeing around town. By the way, this picture is pretty much my favorite thing I've seen in the city so far.
